About Shannon Wise, Mm, ms
Shannon is a Resident in Counseling with a Master of Music degree in vocal performance and a Master of Science degree in pastoral counseling. She creates a spiritually inclusive and supportive environment for individuals, welcoming diversity across age, race, culture, gender, and sexual orientation.
As a parent of three children, Shannon understands the complexities of parenting, marriage, and career discernment. Through her own experiences—including the transition to almost empty nesting—the arts have been a constant source of strength, self-expression, and healing during times of change and challenge. Shannon integrates this personal understanding into her therapeutic work, using creative approaches to help individuals navigate their own transitions, find meaning, build resilience, and tap into their unique strengths during periods of uncertainty or growth.
Shannon specializes in life transitions, anxiety, parenting, relationship issues, grief, spiritual struggles, and LGBTQ+ concerns. She also supports mothers navigating pregnancy and postpartum journeys and is a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator, helping couples strengthen their relationships.
