Jackie Sargent is an art therapist, counselor, and lifelong artist whose creative practice is rooted in healing, intuition, and human connection. Having made art for as long as she can remember, Jackie views the creative process as a way to explore emotion, cultivate self-discovery, and give form to experiences that words alone cannot express.

Throughout her artistic journey, Jackie's choice of medium has evolved alongside her emotional needs. Whether working with sculpture, chalk, oils, collage, or mixed media, each material has served as a unique language for expressing what she is experiencing. Today, she finds the greatest joy in creating with natural elements and tactile materials and is drawn to the physical experience of holding, shaping, and molding her work by hand.

Jackie has always been deeply drawn to the human form and the stories that can be held within a portrait. She believes every face carries a narrative of resilience, vulnerability, joy, and transformation. Through her portraiture, she seeks not only to capture likeness, but to reveal something deeper - creating moments where viewers may recognize a part of themselves, feel seen, understood, and connected through the shared experience of being human.

Many of Jackie's pieces are inspired by images and symbolic visions that emerge during Reiki sessions. These intuitive experiences become the foundation for artwork that explores themes of healing, transformation, connection, and the unseen.

Jackie's hope is that her artwork encourages others to attune to their own sense of connection, peace, and becoming, offering a quiet space for reflection, inspiration, and possibility.
