Meet Our Therapists

At Renew Art Therapy and Counseling, we embrace the complexity of human experiences and honor the unique journey of each person we work with. Our team of compassionate, trauma-informed therapists provide individualized care for children, teens, adults, and couples in-person in Fairfax, Virginia and throughout Northern Virginia, as well as virtual therapy throughout Virginia and Washington, DC.

We believe therapy is most meaningful when there is a genuine connection between therapist and client. Finding the right therapist matters, and we want you to feel comfortable choosing someone whose experience, approach, and personality feel like a good fit for you.

A Personalized Approach to Therapy

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person brings their own experiences, challenges, strengths, relationships, and ways of understanding the world.

Our therapists take time to understand the whole person and thoughtfully tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. Depending on what you are experiencing, therapy may include traditional talk therapy, creative and expressive approaches, mindfulness, or other evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Our Therapeutic Specialties

Our team supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns. Our areas of specialty include:

Our Therapeutic Approaches

Our clinicians are trained in a variety of evidence-based and specialized therapy approaches, allowing us to create care that is flexible, collaborative, and individualized.

Our areas of training include:

Not every approach is right for every person. Your therapist will work with you to determine what feels most supportive and appropriate based on your needs, goals, and experiences.

Finding the Right Therapist

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision. You may be looking for someone who understands a particular concern, connects with your way of communicating, or offers a therapeutic approach that feels comfortable to you.

We encourage you to explore our team members' individual profiles to learn more about their specialties, experience, therapeutic approaches, and the clients they work with.

Whether you are looking for child therapy, teen therapy, adult therapy, couples counseling, art therapy, or trauma therapy, our team is here to help you find the right place to begin.
